You have stumbled upon the

crochet-along for holiday stockings.

Hi and welcome! Today is Monday, October 18, 2004 and this crochet-along is still open to new members, so please join us! To be a part of this crochet-along (CAL) all you have to do is crochet a stocking (or 2, or 10).  Use any yarn you want, any pattern you want, and finish whenever you want (I think most of us have a goal of before Christmas).

To join, contact me by leaving a comment above, e-mailing me at
velfamily{at}sbcglobal{dot}net, or posting in the Holiday Stocking Crochet-Along thread over at Crochetville.  I will add you to the list of participants.

When you finish your stocking, please send me a photo if you are able, so I can add it to the gallery. Thanks!

Here's the button YarnTomato made for this Crochet ALong, which you can put on your blog or web site. Link it to this page; the address is:

Here are some free internet patterns as well as booklets/books you can buy. Don’t forget to check eBay because they often have good prices and patterns that are hard to find there. Please let me know if you have any links to add.
